We often have room for more vehicles due to reservation cancellations. We’ll do our best to make room for you! You are welcome to enjoy the show from your own lawn chairs. Parking is available either at Walmart or in the lot on the east side of our property. There is a lighted path and signs to lead you to The Grove, our outdoor venue.

This special event is a one-of-a-kind Christmas light and sound experience presented by Live Oaks Community Church in The Villages, Florida. Join us December 5th-23rd at our convenient outdoor venue called The Grove. Visitors will enjoy this 50-minute show from the comfort of their car or golf cart while watching on our Jumbotron! That’s right folks… A JUMBOTRON! Bring a chair and sit by your vehicle, if you prefer. Enjoy watching the palms, oaks, and other objects come to life in this amazing Christmas spectacular!

The show tells the nativity story from the Gospel of Luke, narrated by award-winning musician Steve Green. Film clips will make the story come alive on the big screen while the retelling will be interspersed with the singing of familiar Christmas carols such as O Little Town of Bethlehem and Silent Night. The music will be synchronized with an immersive light show experience. One more thing – it will snow in The Villages, Florida!

Come to The Light is a free event you don’t want to miss! A free parking pass is required and should be reserved in advance for each vehicle. Please specify whether you will be in a car or a golf cart. You can reserve more than one parking pass. Enjoy refreshments before the show! This event is an excellent way to get into the Christmas spirit and celebrate the real reason for the season – Jesus Christ.

Yes! We will be serving refreshments before the event begins! Be sure to arrive early enough to park your car or golf cart and enjoy some tasty treats!

Can I reserve a parking pass for others?

Yes, you may reserve a free parking pass for as many cars/golf carts as you desire. Please remember that our space is limited for each presentation.

Can I park with a group of friends?

In order to park together with other attendees, you must arrive together. No saving of parking spaces will be allowed. We will be parking all vehicles in the order in which they arrive.

Where is Live Oaks Church located?

Live Oaks Community Church is located at 12070 CR 103 behind (north of) the Walmart on CR 466. Golf carts are allowed to access The Grove by driving through the Walmart parking lot and crossing Woodridge Dr. straight into The Grove. Golf carts are NOT allowed to cross the intersection of CR 103 and Woodridge Dr. unless they are street legal. Cars can come from CR 103 to Woodridge or from CR 105 to Woodridge. When using your GPS, you may be directed to our east parking lot. Please follow the directions above to enter The Grove. Our parking attendants will direct all cars/golf carts to the next available parking spot for their type of vehicle.

Can I attend more than one time?

Yes! We encourage you to attend more than once and bring additional friends/neighbors when you return.

Can I bring a chair and sit outside my vehicle?

Yes. Feel free to set your chair in front of or beside your vehicle as space permits.

Is there a radio station that I can tune into?

Yes. Tune into 96.7 FM to listen to our production through your radio! You can also hear the music from our outdoor sound system.

Will there be restroom facilities available?

Yes, the church building will be open so that you may use the restrooms.

Can I bring snacks and beverages?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own snacks/beverages. We will be serving refreshments as well.

Will there be an offering?

When exiting The Grove, buckets will be available for free-will donations. All money collected will be used to benefit Feed My Starving Children, Operation Christmas Child, and Operation Blessing. No money will be used to offset the cost of our program or Live Oaks Community Church.
